Permission to NOT...
Friendly reminder for whoever needs permission to NOT. If that means going silent on social media or taking a day off work to do nothing or skipping doing the dishes to snuggle in with a good book or movie, you have full permission to just be.
For me, this looks like my traditional social media Sabbath for a short period of time in the coming days. This time of year is full of reflection and gratitude and realigning myself with where I hear God directing my race for the coming year.
⁉️But Becky, how does your small business survive the algorithms and shadowbans of all the platforms if you go silent?!!
My God is bigger than an algorithm.
Whoever He needs to cross my path or my services to be brought to will happen. This is my time to quiet myself and hear Him without distraction.
