Are you Gathering or Scattering?

A big topic of focus in my Environmental Creativity Coaching communities is the Drift. The greatest prevention of Drift is Community. We start drifting when we stop gathering and we start isolating. We make ourselves a target for disruption and distraction from our path when we isolate.

Community gathers. Drifting scatters.

I have a community ready for you no matter what your hopes are. If you don't think we're a good fit, that's great! Who is? Find your person, find your community. Coach, mentor, therapist, priest, preacher, teacher, guide, all of the above! You see you can't stay in your assigned lane on the narrow path if you don't have community to bump you back in line. The wrong community is going to roll you right off the lane onto a bumpy confusing trail. Until you finally wake up and notice you've been Drifting and now it's time to correct the course. That's where community comes in. They throw you a line, you do the work, and they welcome you back with cheers, Love, tools for the toolbox, encouragement, and empowerment.

Everyone in your community has a gift to benefit you, if you don't believe me check out 1 Peter 4:10, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” Our gifts are meant to be given. My gifts are meant to benefit you and your gifts are meant to benefit me. They are not self-serving. If I’m not sharing my gifts with others, who am I being a disservice to? Not me; my gifts don’t benefit me, those gifts are meant to be shared for the benefit of others.
